One Of Four Philly ShootingVictims Succumbs To Her Injuries

On Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at approximately 3:37 P. M., Police responded to the 1000 block of West Thompson Street for a report of a shooting and a person screaming.   

When officers arrived they found a 23-year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound to the left foot.  He was transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and is currently listed in stable condition.  

Officers also found a 25-year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound to the right arm.  He was also transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and is currently listed in stable condition.  

A third victim, a 25-year-old black male suffered a gunshot wound to the head.  He was transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and is currently listed in critical condition. 

The three vehicles used to transport the gunshot victims to the hospital were preserved as evidence, according to police.

A fourth victim, a 19-year-old black female suffered a gunshot wound to the head.  She was transported to Temple University Hospital by Police and succumbed to her injuries at 10:52 P.M.  She was later identified as Yaniyah Foster of the 1000 block of West Thompson Street.

Police said a weapon was recovered at the scene.  

Police said the investigation is active and on-going with the Homicide Detectives Division.
