Philly Cops Investigating Recent Stabbing, 4 Shootings, And 4 Homicides, Names Released

19th District-Stabbing Incident
On Monday, February 17th, 2020 at approximately 11:47 pm., police responded to Lankenau Medical Center for a stabbing victim. A 17-year-old black female suffered a stab wound to the neck.

She was transported by private vehicle to the hospital. She is currently listed in stable condition.

The incident occurred on the 5800 block of Lancaster Avenue. Police said a weapon was recovered, however, no arrest has been made. The investigation is active and on-going with Southwest Detectives Division.

22nd District-Shooting Incident
On Monday, February 17th, 2020 at approximately 10:22 pm., police responded to 20th and Susquehanna Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Police found a 30-year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach by an unknown subject. He was transported to Temple University Hospital by police and is currently listed in critical condition.

The investigation is active and on-going with the Central Detectives Division.

18th District-Shooting Incident
On Monday, February 17th, 2020 at approximately 10:19 p.M. Police responded to 60th Street and Market Street for a report of a shooting.

A 14-year-old black male was found suffering from a gunshot to the left buttock. He was transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and currently is listed in stable condition.

The investigation is active and on-going with Southwest Detectives Division.

39th District-Shooting Incident
On Monday, February 17th, 2020 at approximately 10:18 p.m., police responded to the Temple University Hospital for a report of a shooting victim.

Officials said that a 24-year-old black male suffered a gunshot wound to the right hand by an unknown subject. The incident occurred on the 1600 block of West Hunting Park Avenue. He was transported to the hospital by private vehicle and currently listed in stable condition.

The investigation is active and on-going with the Northwest Detectives Division.

39th District-Homicide By Shooting Update
On Monday, February 17th, 2020 at approximately 3:18 pm, police responded to the 3700 block of North Bouiver Street for a report of a shooting. A 27-year-old black male suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and arm.

He was transported to Temple University Hospital by police and succumbed to his injuries at 3:40 p.M. He was later identified as Kristian Eldridge of the 1700 block of West Atlantic Street.

The investigation is active and on-going with homicide division.

35th District-Homicide By Shooting Incident Update
On Friday, February 14th, 2020 at approximately 9:57 pm, police responded to the 4500 block of North Smedley Street for a report of gunshots.

When police arrived they found a 20-year-old black male suffering from gunshot wounds to the face, torso, left leg, and left arm.

He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by police and succumbed to his injuries at 11:18 pm.

The victim was later identified as Keon Hall of the 4500 block of North Smedley Street. The investigation is active and on-going with homicide division.

25th District-Homicide By Shooting Incident Update

On Friday, February 14th, 2020 at approximately 12:03 am, police responded to the 3400 block of B Street for a report of gunshots.

Arriving officers found a 31-year-old black male suffering gunshot wounds to the head and back while inside blue Hyundai. He was transported to Temple University Hospital by medic unit and succumbed to his injuries at 12:20 am. He was later identified as James Pointer of the 4400 block of North Marshall Street.

The investigation is active and on-going with homicide division.

16th Homicide By Shooting Incident Update
On Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at approximately 11:08 pm, police responded to the 600 block of North Union Street for a report of a person with who had been shot.

When they arrived police found a 22-year-old black male that had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and succumbed to his injuries at 11:18 pm. He was later identified as Kaliek Mcdonald of the 700 block of North Preston Street.

The investigation is active and on-going with homicide division.
