Officials: Father, Police Find Man Naked With 15-Year-Old Girl

On Friday the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department (SCCRPD) announced the arrest of a Kennett Square man on multiple charges.

Luis Miguel Acosta-Espinoza, 22, was arrested and charged with 12 counts each of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Unlawful Contact with Minor, Statutory Sexual Assault, Corruption of Minors, Indecent Assault, and Indecent Exposure.

On January 16, 2020, officers were called to the 300 block of Cedar Springs Road in New Garden Township by a concerned father. When the father arrived at his home he noticed the vehicle of a man that he suspected of spending time with his teen daughter, parked nearby.

The father contacted police, who arrived to find Acosta-Espinoza laying completely naked on the living room floor, next to the clothed 15-year-old, according to police. Acosta-Espinoza was taken into custody at the scene.

Officials said that through their investigation, they determined that Acosta-Espinoza and the teen met through social media and that he was aware of her age.

Police said there is evidence indicating that Acosta-Espinoza and the victim had twelve sexual encounters beginning in she was only 14-years-old.

Acosta-Espinoza was booked, held for arraignment and then committed to the Chester County Prison on $1,000,000.00 bail.
